Playmobil Country

Playmobil describes Country as life in the countryside, with organic farm sets. According to Playmobil, all of these sets are made from more than 80% sustainable materials.

The sets include a large farm, a farmhouse with outdoor area, a rabbit hutch and a farm stand. Children look after cows and pigs and feed the rabbits.

Schleich Farm World

According to Schleich, its farm lies somewhere in the country, among green meadows and blooming cornfields. Ducks, pigs, dogs, cats and llamas are among the animals.

Farm World has its own characters: Farmer Paul, the vet Laura and the children Sarah and Ben. Sets include a rabbit hutch, a pet hotel and a dog house.

The difference in play

With Playmobil, the farm as a place and the figures are central: you build a farmyard and play out the work and the selling. With Schleich, the animals are central, as single figures or in small sets with their shelter.

Both worlds have animals and buildings, but they are not made to match. Sizes and proportions can differ.

A first set

Schleich has a Farm World starter set (72161) with a horse, a calf, a cat and a puppy, for which Schleich names ages 3 to 8. With Playmobil you might start with one building or an animal set and add to it later.

Check the age on the box of each set; it differs per set.

Combining
